About Me

Since I was young I’ve always been very resourceful and hands on. First starting with computers back in my early years. I started out learning how to write MS .batch scripts in MS notepad to impress the kids in my primary school. I then started building computers and upgrading them a little bit after. During tinkering with computer hardware I ended up learning some very rudimentary wiring. Splicing Molex connectors here and there. This was before I ever had my own internet connection. During secondary school I learned how to create websites from scratch using HTML5 and eventually Twitter Bootstrap. I wanted to learn how to write Python, C++ and C# and take computer science as a GCSE. However I never scored enough in my Maths and English GCSE’s to do so. So after missing out on that opportunity and being bummed out for quite some time I ventured into cybersecurity and started learning how to use Kali Linux and it’s whole host of built-in tools. I used to enjoy learning about Wi-Fi attacks using my old Alfa Networks adaptor in monitoring mode.

It was around the end of school when I had gotten my first motorcycle. It was a 2003 KTM 125SX motocross bike. I knew nothing about piston engines at the time. So I decided with the tools I had in the garage I’d try and tidy the bike up. Having that bike taught me the difference between two-stroke and four-stroke engines and most importantly how to rejet carburetors and how they even worked. I set myself to restoring this bike back to factory spec from KTM. I also learned how much a pain in the ass two-stroke bikes were and eventually sold that bike to pay towards my first car. Having that bike completely opened my eyes to off-road racing. I’ve been hooked since.

During my childhood I had always been absolutely fascinated with speed and I jumped straight into airspace. Reading books about the fasted airplanes got my adrenaline going. I grew an unhealthy obsession with the SR-71 Blackbird. As I got older I eventually realized how the plane managed to do what it did. I grew curious about engines and engine design as a whole. Watching countless hours of SR-71 documentary and gas turbine engine videos on YouTube.

Never once did I let anyone stop me from learning what I had a passion for. Even with the several attempts in my early life in school. My curiosity for eventually finding out how everything works drove me to learn totally foreign concepts and ideas. My stubborn attitude for doing everything myself, or trying my damn best to do so brought me this far.

As of today I’m still obsessed with speed, motorcycles, cars and planes. Having the earlier knowledge of how to build websites and the connections I had made along the way is how I ultimately ended up creating this blogsite. My one goal with this site is to create a free platform where people can share likeminded ideas of how they think they can improve their vehicles, how they’ve done so and ultimately bring together a community of petrol heads who can’t stop tinkering with things like myself.
